Patches the female polar bear has arrived safely at the North Carolina Zoo. 

WGHP-TV reported Patches arrived safely in Asheboro, N.C. Wednesday evening. 

Patches, 25, was relocated from the Erie Zoo due to the zoo‘s $1 million renovation of two moated exhibits, including Patches‘ previous enclosure.
